Ever since the age of 6, I have been interested in science. Physics, Astronomy, Mathematics, Chemistry etc. I wasn’t much of a social guy, really. More of a nerd.

     Until I was 18, I seldom went to parties, and my social life was quite “flat”. Shy, afraid of facing even a small group of people; Let alone reading aloud in the classroom. I used to hide behind the fattest girl in the class not to be seen and asked to read aloud.

     At 18, my life took a right turn. I got a flier from a guy on the street. I told me where I could go and see a movie about Scientology. And so I did. I did a personality test, and the woman evaluating my test told me I needed a communications course. I wasn’t too interested. All I wanted was to know if they had some books on physics or astronomy. She seemed a bit puzzled, but I got a Scientology book on physics. In reading it, I was surprised. It made very much sense. I went back to the place and asked for more, only this time I listened more to the lady. She kept on insisting I should take the communications course. Hmm... I thought it might be a good idea if I ever should have a chance to pick up any girls.

     The course totally changed my life. Two years later I became a radio host on my own show in Oslo. Talk about a change of personality. I could finally be myself even in front of an audience. No sweat.

     Today I use my communications skills every day. It is an invaluable asset in dealing with all kinds of situations. Scientology is something you use. Because it works. It worked for me. Maybe it will work for you, too.
